Work with Kent State University’s Division of Information Technology.

All of the work included in this portion of my portfolio was completed during my time as a student designer at Kent State’s Division of Information Technology from Spring 2017-Spring 2020. My work with IT ranged from internal communications like flyers, newsletters and web page layouts, to public facing projects like IT’s Technology Guides for on-campus housing.

IT Vision, Mission & Core Values Poster

A series of posters put together for display in the Department of IT’s headquarters - Stewart Hall. The project was wide open with the only requirement being that I included the full pre-written verbiage and keep it with the Kent State brand.

Secure your Escape
IT Event Graphics

Promo graphics for a ransomeware themed escape room event hosted by KSU’s IT department. This event was geared towards faculty and staff, to provide a fun and educational team-building activity to educate about ransomeware and other IT-related threats.

One of a variety of reoccurring mailers distributed throughout Kent State’s campus advertising the Department of IT’s reoccuring tech workshops. Each month we’d come up with a theme to match that month. For January we wanted to choose something that would give a wintry and nostalgic and cozy vibe. I decided to depict a snowy scene of the Kent State Library and main plaza.

KSU Library Screensavers

A fun computer background project inteded to provide KSU’s library computers with an on-brand screensaver option that both gave the computer lab a unified look, while providing students with a quick-reference for popular online resources supported by the University.

Setting Up Your Tech
KSU Student Checklist

A redesign of Kent State University Department of IT’s yearly “Tech Checklist” included in each student’s on-campus move in packet. The IT creative team wanted a refresh of the design, and something with fun flare to motivate students to make sure all of their tech was set up in time before the first week of classes.
